Since the fall of Bashar al-Assad, the IDF has routinely targeted military positions across Syria to prevent heavy weaponry—such as fighter jets, chemical weapons, and long-range missiles—from falling into enemy hands.

Over 90% of Syria’s surface-to-air missiles have been destroyed, along with two strategic naval ports and numerous weapons-production sites.

Committed to protecting its borders, the IDF continues to take decisive action to safeguard Israel from emerging threats.
