Chile’s 16,000-member Jewish community is sounding the alarm over a recent rise in anti-Israel and anti-Semitic incidents in the South American country.

With plans to apply Israeli sovereignty to Jewish communities in Judea and Samaria, there have been a number of anti-Semitic developments in Chile coming from its government and leaders.

Chile has the largest Palestinian community in Latin America, with around half a million members, and therefore the Israeli-Palestinian conflict has been a hot-button issue in the South American country..
