The recipients of this year’s Genesis Prize are well-deserving of this honor.

Each year, the Genesis Prize Foundation awards $1 million to a person for their professional achievements, contributions to humanity, and commitment to Jewish values. It is considered to be the ‘Jewish Nobel Prize.’

This year the honor didn’t go to one person but rather to a group of people. The prize went to Jewish activists and non-governmental organizations who have chosen to act on their Jewish values.

Watch and learn why the foundation decided to award this group the prestigious prize.
