Lieutenant Roei Ya’aran, the resilient commander of Nahal’s 50th Battalion, who sustained critical injuries during fierce combat in Gaza, made an inspiring appearance yesterday.

The crowd erupted into applause as he attended the beret award ceremony for the March 24 cohort of the Nahal Brigade.

His presence, marked by both determination and humility, served as a poignant reminder of the sacrifice and strength needed to be a brave and heroic IDF soldier.
