The cable news channel is giving credence to falsehoods about the Jewish state with its biased coverage.

CNN’s anti-Israel bias is hardly a secret, and media watchdogs have documented the network’s slanted reporting for years.

From misleading reports about vicious Palestinian attacks on Israeli civilians to downplaying Hamas’ reign of terror in Gaza, CNN‘s double standard when it comes to Israel is shameful.

On Tuesday, CNN spread the libel that Israel is an “apartheid” state, a debunked, slanderous propaganda talking point used by the BDS movement, which seeks to demonize and delegitimize the Jewish state.

CNN’s piece is based on a report prepared by an organization that claims Israel is “a regime of Jewish supremacy from the Jordan River to the Mediterranean Sea: This is apartheid.”

Why is CNN trafficking in “Jewish supremacy” accusations during a global health pandemic when anti-Semitism is spiking worldwide and Jews and Israel are being blamed for any number of problems across the globe?

In reality, Palestinians live under the control of the Palestinian Authority, not Israel, while Arabs who are Israeli citizens have the exact same rights as Jewish citizens of Israel.

Why didn’t CNN put those facts in its anti-Israel “apartheid” hit piece?

Eugene Kontorovich, an American professor and expert on international law, called the report CNN promoted “shockingly weak, dishonest and misleading,” the Associated Press reported.

The AP report also noted that “Palestinian leaders agreed to the current territorial divisions in the Oslo accords in the 1990s,” a fact CNN ignored.

According to Kontorovich, the current division of territory between Israel and the Palestinian Authority is “a far cry from the territories designated for Black South Africans under apartheid — known as bantustans.”

The use of the word “apartheid” was instead aimed at demonizing Israel in a way that “resonates with racial sensitivities and debates in America and the West,” Kontorovich concluded.

Tell CNN to stop promoting the anti-Israel “apartheid” myth and distorting the true nature of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

Send your own message to CNN, or this template: Dear Sir or Madame, I am writing to condemn an article CNN published promoting the myth that Israel is an “apartheid” state. CNN’s distorted coverage of the Israel-Palestinian conflict helps delegitimize and demonize the Jewish state, creating an obstacle to peace that does a disservice to Israelis and Palestinians alike. Stop spreading the apartheid libel about Israel and cover the issue fairly!
