The IDF killed three members of Islamic Jihad’s military wing as they met to advance terrorist attacks against Israeli troops.

The IDF eliminated five Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad terrorists in two separate airstrikes in southern Gaza after they were identified preparing attacks against Israeli forces, the military said Tuesday.
In the first strike, carried out in the Khan Yunis area on Sunday, the IDF killed three members of Islamic Jihad’s military wing as they met to advance terrorist attacks against Israeli troops.
The military identified the three as Muhammad Abu Hajaj, an engineering operative; Youssef Abu Razak, a deputy cell commander; and Abdelhamid Jadallah, an operative in the terrorist group’s rocket unit.
In a separate strike in southern Gaza on Monday, the IDF eliminated Salah al-Din Iyad Abd al-Hamid and Izz al-Din Iyad Diab Barhoum, two members of Hamas’s elite Nukhba forces from the terrorist group’s Rafah Brigade.
According to the IDF, the five terrorists had recently been working to carry out attacks against Israeli troops and civilians while helping Hamas and Islamic Jihad rebuild their military capabilities.
The military said their activities constituted repeated violations of the ceasefire and that the terrorists were targeted from the air to eliminate the threat they posed.
IDF forces under Southern Command remain deployed in the area in accordance with the ceasefire agreement and will continue operating against immediate threats, the military said.
