An IDF soldier was wounded in what appears to be another incident of car terror. Palestinian violence has become more frequent of late in the Israeli capital and in Judea and Samaria.

An IDF soldier was lightly wounded late Saturday night near Hebron in a hit-and-run incident when a Palestinian motorist sped towards a unit of soldiers securing an intersection in the area, seemingly in an attempt to run them over.

The driver missed most of the unit, and the soldiers opened fire on the car, hitting one of the tail lights. The assailant managed to flee the scene.

The wounded soldier sustained injuries to his foot and was treated by medics on the spot.

Israeli security forces launched a manhunt for the driver.

In a similar incident that occurred at the beginning of the month, three IDF soldiers were wounded when a Palestinian terrorist ran his car into them while they were on patrol in Samaria.

In another incident, an Israeli was killed and another critically wounded as they sustained head and multiple body injuries in the vehicular attack. Another one was lightly wounded. The terrorist was shot.

There have recently been several stabbing attacks by Palestinian terrorists on Israeli security forces.
