IDF Thwarts Stabbing Attack Near Hebron

Stabbing is one of the most common methods of terror in the current wave of Palestinian violence. (Flash90)

The IDF prevented yet another stabbing attack in the Hebron region, this time by a female Palestinian teenager.

A female Palestinian teenager attempted to commit a terror attack on the outskirts of Hebron on Sunday afternoon, but was neutralized at the scene.

The IDF managed to shoot the 16-year-old terrorist, who tried stabbing Israelis in the Hebron suburb of Kiryat Arba. She was evacuated to Hadassah Ein-Kerem hospital in Jerusalem, where she is listed in moderate condition.

A large percentage of Palestinian terrorists hail from the Hebron area. The IDF recently closed down Palestinian printing houses and radio stations in the city for their incitement to violence, and raided several other terrorism targets there.

A terrorist who was apprehended on Friday admitted during questioning that he had been influenced by anti-Semitic and anti-Israel Palestinian incitement, which, under the Palestinian Authority, is rampant, including in elementary schools and in media programming for children.
