Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar vows that the Palestinians’ violent riots will continue.

Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar says that his “people” want the terror group to attack Tel Aviv. Rockets have been fired at Tel Aviv from Gaza in the past, including earlier this month, though Hamas maintained that the most recent attack was a mistake.

“[The Palestinian] people say: ‘O (Al-Qassam Brigades), beloved ones, bomb Tel Aviv,'” Sinwar declared.

The Al-Qassam Brigades are the so-called military wing of the Hamas terror group.

Sinwar was quoted by the Arutz Sheva website as making the comments as he visited rioters on Saturday during the violent unrest in Gaza.

Rallying the protestors, Sinwar declared, “Our [Palestinian] people . . .  support the resistance,” reported Arutz Sheva.

He stressed that the “March of the Return” riots would continue until the “right of return” is realized, referring to the Palestinians’ demand that every descendant of Arabs who left Israeli territory when the state was founded, into the fourth generation, be be permitted to take over modern Israel.

According to the Israeli military, some 40,000 rioters gathered Saturday in several locations along the Gaza security fence.

Palestinians complain about an Israeli siege even though Israel withdrew from the Gaza Strip in 2005 and has pledged to loosen controls imposed from outside the territory if the violence against Israel ceases.

Despite the rioting and the five rockets which were fired late Saturday night from Gaza into southern Israel, two border crossings from Israel to Gaza were reopened on Sunday morning, as Israeli authorities said they wished to show goodwill toward Egyptian mediation efforts aimed at achieving a temporary cessation of violence.

Israel also reportedly agreed to increase the size of the fishing zone for Palestinians off the Gazan coast.
