Palestinian terror continues on a daily basis. Security forces prevented a car-ramming incident Friday, hours after two border police were stabbed and wounded, as well as two more stabbing attacks on Saturday.

An 18-year-old Palestinian terrorist tried stabbing Border Policemen at Damascus Gate in the Old City of Jerusalem Saturday evening when he was stopped for questioning, having appeared suspicious. Security forces subdued him; there were no injuries.

Earlier in the day, IDF troops caught a 13-year-old Palestinian boy with a knife at the entrance to the Cave of the Patriarchs in Hebron, with which he had intended to stab soldiers.

On Friday afternoon, a 20-year-old Palestinian man attempted to ram his vehicle into Israeli soldiers in the village of Silwad, near Ramallah.

IDF troops shot and killed the terrorist before he could cause any injuries. He was later identified as Aabed Hamed.

“During a violent riot in Silwad, northeast of Ramallah, an assailant attempted to ram his vehicle into soldiers,” the army said in a statement Friday, as translated by Times of Israel. “The soldiers responded to the immediate threat and fired towards the assailant, resulting in his death.”

It was the second terror incident of the day. In the morning, two border policemen were wounded in a stabbing attack at Damascus Gate in Jerusalem’s Old City.  A 50-year-old Palestinian woman who happened to be nearby also was injured.

Stabbings and car-rammings are the most common forms of terror in the current wave of Palestinian violence, and Damascus Gate and Hebron are frequent sites of terror attacks.

Polls indicate that approximately 80% of Palestinians support these attacks – a fact that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu blames directly on Palestinian Authority’s incitement to violence against Israeli civilians and soldiers.
