Hussam Dufash, a third suspect in the kidnapping and murder of three Jewish Israeli boys, was arrested in Hebron on Saturday.

Hussam Dufash, a third suspect in the kidnapping and murder of three Israeli teens – Gilad Sha’ar, Naftali Frankel and Eyal Yifrach – was arrested on Saturday night.

The terror victims were on their way home from school in Gush Etzion on the night of June 12, when they were kidnapped and murdered.

Dufash Family Strongly Connected to Hamas

Unlike the two main suspects whose names were announced two weeks ago – Hamas operatives Amer Abu Aysha and Marwan Kawasme of Hebron – Hussam Dufas had remained in Hebron throughout the search for the boys and since the discovery of their bodies in a forest near Jerusalem six days ago.

Dufash, a Hamas terrorist who had been imprisoned in Israeli jail and whose family is also strongly connected to Hamas, claims that he is innocent in this case.

The IDF is still searching for Abu Aysha and Kawasme.
