Why don’t Black Israeli lives matter to the Black Lives Matter movement, especially the lives of Black Jewish Israelis held hostage by the Hamas terror group?
Avera Mengistu is a Black Jewish Israeli who was taken hostage by the Hamas terror group seven years ago when he accidentally entered the Gaza Strip.
Mengistu suffers from mental illness and the terrorists who hold him captive have refused to release him, along with another Israeli hostage and the bodies of two IDF soldiers who were killed in the 2014 war with Hamas.
In this video, Einav Baruch Mekonen calls out the Black Lives Matter movement for its silence on Mengistu’s plight, while the group expresses support for the Palestinians.
