US President-elect Donald Trump, set to take office in two weeks, has consistently supported Israel’s fight against terrorism as well as its mission to bring the hostages from Gaza back home after more than 450 harrowing days.

In response to a question about a ceasefire and hostage deal in Gaza, Trump vowed that Hamas would face severe consequences for holding innocent people hostage, reaffirming his steadfast commitment to securing their release at any cost.

He emphasized that a deal must be reached by the time he assumes office, pledging to take decisive action to free the hostages and hold those responsible fully accountable.
