Be happy on Sukkot

There are many commandments associated with the holiday of Sukkot, but one of the main ones, or perhaps the most important one, is being happy!

In Hebrew, this time of the year is called “z’man simchateinu“, which means “a time for being joyous.”

All of the requirements for Sukkot, such as living in a sukkah, are wonderful and interesting.

This is also the time of year when Israeli citizens, as well as tourists, visit and explore different parts of the country, discovering its unlimited beauty and wealth of historical value.

One of the greatest places to feel joy in Israel is at the Western Wall (Kotel), especially during Sukkot! Let us hope that next year the coronavirus will be gone and the celebrations will resume as usual!
