Hundreds of students came to the bus station in order to encourage commuters with their show of unity.
The students sang “Am Yisrael Chai” which means “the nation of Israel will live.”
Israeli Arab Muhaned Al-Okabi shot a soldier, grabbed his weapon and opened fire on a group of police officers standing in the station. He was later shot dead by security forces.
