A video by watchdog HonestReporting smashes the claim made by anti-Israel media that Israel is at fault for the lack of a ceasefire deal with Hamas.
HonestReporting explained that every so-called ceasefire deal which Israel has rejected has entailed Hamas maintaining power in Gaza. This is untenable for Israel, because Hamas has repeatedly vowed to carry out another October 7 style massacre once it gets the chance. Hamas’ charter, after all, declares that the terror group will not make peace with Israel.
“In another words, a ceasefire with Hamas won’t last.”
Hamas also uses propaganda tricks to make it appear as if it has accepted ceasefire deals that Israel has rejected. For example, a May 6 “proposal” reworded by Hamas was declared “accepted” by Hamas before Israel had even seen it.
