One year after October 7th, people are still grappling with the events of that tragic day. IDF soldiers, civilians, and emergency personnel remain deeply scarred by the horrific scenes witnessed in the southern kibbutzim.

ZAKA, a volunteer service dedicated to recovering bodies from terror attacks and accidents, was at the forefront of the devastation that day, and the sights encountered by the volunteers left them profoundly shaken.

A year later, ZAKA members recount the horror of October 7th and reflect on how the past year has impacted them.
