Religious pilgrims and Israeli citizens alike descended upon holy sites throughout the Jewish state during the annual Passover celebration.

In Hebron, over 25,000 people attended joyful prayers and enjoyed festive music in honor of the Passover holiday, which lasts for seven days in Israel and attracts visitors from all over the world.

At Joseph’s Tomb in Shechem, Samaria, 1,500 worshipers prayed at the tomb of the beloved biblical patriarch.

Perhaps the highlight of the festival, however, was the annual priestly blessing in Jerusalem, where over 100,000 arrived at the Western Wall plaza at the base of the Jewish Temple Mount. Here, members of the priestly class (“cohanim”) bestowed the traditional benediction that is written in the Torah on the massive assembled crowd.
