“We are making history,” Netanyahu told the president of Chad, where the two leaders resumed diplomatic relations.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu made a historic visit to the Muslim-majority African nation of Chad, where he and President Idriss Deby reestablished relations between their two countries.

The Israeli leader, in a joint press conference on Sunday, elaborated on the deepening of cooperation in every field, beginning with security but including agriculture, food, water, energy, health and more.

This partnership will build a better, safer and more prosperous future for Israel, Africa and beyond, Netanyahu said. “What happens here could affect the entire world.”
