JetBlue Airways has recently come under fire for a shocking misrepresentation of Israel on their in-flight maps.
In a distressing display of geographic distortion, the airline’s map labels most of Israel as “Palestinian Territories” and completely omits the Golan Heights. This is not just a minor error—it’s a clear act of antisemitism.
On a recent flight, Israeli student Hodaya Knafo was horrified to see her homeland erased from the map.
JetBlue has kinda wiped Israel off the map — acknowledging much of the sovereign nation as “Palestinian Territories” on its seatback map.
It blames a third-party. But doesn’t seem to care and won’t commit to fixing it.

Instead of seeing the accurate borders of Israel, the map showed a much larger area labeled as “Palestinian Territories,” even covering parts of Israel entirely. This oversight is more than just a geographical error; it’s an affront to Israeli identity and sovereignty.
The half-hearted apology from JetBlue does little to address the gravity of this situation. Blaming a third-party map provider is an insufficient excuse.
We are aware of concerns that have been raised about our third-party map provider’s rendering of labels over Israel and the surrounding area. We sincerely apologize for any distress this has caused and have asked our third-party supplier to urgently look into the situation.

JetBlue must take full responsibility for the content they display and act decisively to correct this oversight.
This incident is a stark reminder that we must remain vigilant against any attempt to erase or distort Israel’s existence.
Let’s hold JetBlue accountable and demand they address this issue with the seriousness it deserves.

Subject: Immediate Action Required: JetBlue’s Distortion of Israel’s Borders
Dear JetBlue Airways,
I am deeply outraged by your recent in-flight map changes, which erase Israel’s borders and replace them with “Palestinian Territories,” including the omission of the Golan Heights.
This isn’t just a map error—it’s an antisemitic act undermining Israel’s legitimacy.
Immediate correction and a clear stance against such distortions are essential. We demand a prompt response and policy reinforcement.
Sincerely,
