Israel has halted electricity to Gaza in a strategic move to weaken Hamas and intensify pressure on the terror group to release the remaining hostages still held in captivity.

The plan is to conquer Gaza Strip with over 50,000 soldiers, relocate civilian population to humanitarian zones, and wage a 'ruthless ground campaign' in terrorist-heavy areas that will receive no humanitarian aid.

Despite eliminating 20,000 Hamas fighters and dismantling vast underground networks, the terror group still controls Gaza, forcing Israel into a January 19, 2025, ceasefire deal—hostages for prisoners.

The operation included drone strikes, ground forces, and airstrikes to dismantle terrorist infrastructure, destroying IEDs, and weapons caches, including a bomb hidden in a washing machine.
