Anti-Israel boycotters are pushing Rod Stewart to cancel his concert in Israel. We must counter these voices of hatred and urge him to keep the date!
The notoriously anti-Israel Celtic fan club is calling on famous musician Rod Stewart to cancel his gig in Tel Aviv.
Stewart, who is slated to give a concert in June at Tel Aviv’s HaYarkon Park, posted a special video message for his Israeli fans, promising “a splendid night of fantastic music.”
However, fans of the Scottish soccer club are pushing the veteran rocker to cancel the concert. They launched a petition, telling Stewart not to perform in the Jewish state.
“We are shocked at your recent decision to breach the international cultural boycott of Israel and appeal to you to reconsider your decision,” the petition reads. “As a life-long Celtic fan you must be well aware of the special affinity our fans have with the Palestinian people and their struggle for freedom.”
We must counter this heinous petition and urge Stewart to steer away from hatred and ugliness and to abide by his promise of “a splendid night of fantastic music” in Tel Aviv.
Please send Rod Stewart a message thanking him for his scheduled concert in Israel and asking him not to listen to the voices of Israel-haters and anti-Semites.
