'6 million wasn't enough'

Take action now. Our children cannot afford to wait!

Today, California schools are facing a surge in antisemitic incidents.

Assembly Bill 715 is the bold step we need, creating the first-ever Antisemitism Prevention Coordinator in public education to protect Jewish students and uphold equity in K‑12 classrooms.

The bill also mandates that districts immediately investigate and remediate any instructional materials or training that incite discrimination and expand the definition of protected groups to include nationality and religion.

Amid a staggering 623% increase in antisemitic incidents in California schools over the past decade, this legislation is not merely symbolic; it is essential.

Jewish organizations across California- including JPAC and ADL- are urging its passage, even as opposition from groups such as the California Teachers Association threatens to derail meaningful protections.

The hearing before the Senate Education Committee in Sacramento is next week. This is our moment to act. Don’t leave our children unprotected!
