Despite persistent rumors disseminated by the Palestinians, arch-terrorist Arafat was not assassinated by Israel, a French lab test reaffirms.

French experts reexamining evidence regarding arch-terrorist Yasser Arafat’s alleged assassination by Israel have confirmed their earlier findings that Arafat’s 2004 death was not the result of poisoning, a prosecutor told AFP Monday.

According to the experts, there was no unnatural cause in Arafat’s death, the prosecutor for the Paris suburb of Nanterre said.

The Palestinians initially alleged that Arafat was lethally poisoned with a radioactive-related agent by Israel in order to remove him from the Palestinian leadership.

Arafat’s widow Suha lodged a complaint at a court in Nanterre in 2012, claiming that her husband was assassinated.

Arafat’s grave was opened, and physical evidence was submitted to several laboratories around the world in an attempt to cement their conspiracy allegations as actual facts. They have so far failed.

A center in the Swiss city of Lausanne found “abnormal levels of polonium” — an extremely radioactive toxin, but stopped short of saying that Arafat had been poisoned by polonium.

However, French experts “maintain that the polonium-210 and lead-210 found in Arafat’s grave and in the samples are of an environmental nature,” Nanterre prosecutor Catherine Denis told AFP.

The reevaluation of earlier data “disproves the hypothesis of an acute ingestion of polonium-210 in the days preceding the appearance of symptoms,” she told AFP.

These conclusions confirm French findings from 2013, which matched those of a Russian team that had also concluded that Arafat was not killed.

Arafat, former head of the Palestinian Authority, was responsible for the deaths of thousands of Israelis. He died on November 11, 2004, at the age of 75 at a Paris hospital. He had been admitted a couple of weeks earlier after complaining about stomach pains.

Petition to the United States and European Union

We demand that all funding of the PA be stopped immediately. The brutal murder of Israelis committed by Palestinian terrorists throughout Israel is the latest result of ongoing PA incitement against Israeli citizens. Funding the PA means funding terror.
