Israeli forces captured on Monday an Arab terrorist who was heavily armed and who was disguised wearing an IDF uniform, apparently on his way to carry out an attack in a nearby Israeli community.
The terrorist was caught on Road 60 between the communities of Eli and Ma’ale Levona, in the Binyamin region.
Residents who spotted the terrorist walking on the side of the road alerted security forces, who captured the terrorist while he was armed with a hunting rifle, a meat cleaver, ammunition, and pepper spray.
The IDF said the terrorist is a resident of Jenin.

The head of the Binyamin Council, Yisrael Ganz praised “the vigilance of the residents” which “prevented a serious attack.
