“Get your weapons ready,” says an online banner from a Palestinian terror group, portraying the gas pedal of a car as the clip of a machine gun.

Against the backdrop of Mahmoud Abbas boycotting the U.S.’ attempts to broker peace and Hamas-sanctioned rocket fire from Gaza, the Palestinian Popular Resistance Committees (PRC) launched its “Black February” campaign, which seeks to inspire Arabs to use their cars as deadly weapons in ramming sprees that kill Israelis.
As part of the campaign, PRC’s “military wing,” the Nasser Salah al-Din Brigades, posted a banner on social media with the slogan “Get your weapons ready heroes.”
According to reporter Joe Truzman, who translated and reposted the banner on Twitter, the image seeks to spur on Palestinians to use their vehicles as weapons.
This variety of terror attack has been used repeatedly in the past to kill Israelis.
Just last week, an Arab terrorist in Jerusalem committed a car-ramming, injuring 12 soldiers on the day of their induction into the IDF, leaving one of them in serious condition, TPS reported.
That attack was committed at the popular First Station complex in Jerusalem, which attracts droves of locals and tourists alike to lively restaurants, outdoor cafes, and music venues.
According to Israel’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, PRC “is an independent terrorist organization in the Gaza Strip that is supported, subsidized and trained by the Hamas terrorist organization.”
PRC “was founded in September 2000 following the outbreak of the second intifada, during which over 1,000 Israelis were killed” and “operates in coordination with Iranian authorities and the Hezbollah terrorist organization.”
In June 2006, PRC and Hamas “attacked an IDF post in the Kerem Shalom area, during which IDF soldier Gilad Shalit was kidnapped,” in addition to “kidnapping and murder[ing] Israeli civilian Eliyahu Ashri in Judea and Samaria.”
PRC also “led terrorist attacks on the Israel-Egypt border near Eilat, killing eight Israelis,” the ministry added.
