The Palestinians continue with their glorification of terrorism, despite their facade of peace-seekers.
Just days before President Donald Trump arrives in Israel, the Palestinian Authority (PA), which claims it wants to reach a peace agreement with Israel, continues its policy of glorifying the murder of Israeli civilians.
The Jerusalem Post reported earlier this week that a square in the Palestinian city of Tulkarem was named after Maher Younis, a prisoner in Israel since 1983 for the murder of IDF soldier Avraham Bromberg in 1980.
The square was dedicated in a public ceremony attended by the Palestinian mayor and other local dignitaries.
Younis was convicted, along with his cousin Karim Younis, of murdering Bromberg and stealing his rifle. Both are among the longest-held security prisoners in Israel.
Earlier this month, a street in Jenin was named after Karim.
Avi Bromberg, the victim’s nephew, decried the honor bestowed upon his uncle’s murderer. “The incitement never stops and is constantly more shocking,” he told Israel Radio on Tuesday. “It is against the law to honor these killers in Israeli Arab towns, so the Palestinian Authority (PA) takes it upon itself.”
During Trump’s meeting with PA head Mahmoud Abbas at the White House earlier this month, the US president told Abbas that “no lasting peace” can be achieved between Israel and the Palestinians “unless the Palestinian leaders speak in a unified voice against incitement to violence.”
However, while Abbas told Trump in a press conference that Palestinians are raised in a “culture of peace,” his party honored 12 terrorists responsible for the murder of 95 innocent people.
The PA regularly glorifies terrorists and promotes violence by naming streets, playgrounds, and various events after infamous murderous terrorists. The Palestinian leadership has also abused educational events, including summer camps and school plays, to educate the younger generation to hate Jews and seek Israel’s destruction.

We demand that all funding of the PA be stopped immediately. The brutal murder of Israelis committed by Palestinian terrorists throughout Israel is the latest result of ongoing PA incitement against Israeli citizens. Funding the PA means funding terror.
