“If Iran continues to test us, it will discover Israel’s long arm and capabilities,” said Israel’s prime minister.

Prime Minister Yair Lapid visited the Navatim Air Force Base in southern Israel on Tuesday “as part of the diplomatic campaign against Iran.”

Lapid received a security review from Air Force Commander Tomer Bar, from the Commander of the 140th (F-35) Squadron Lt. Col. M., and visited the Golden Eagle Adir F-35I Joint Strike Fighters (JSF) squadron.

The F-35 stealth fighters, one of the most advanced in the world, are expected to serve as a key factor if Israel decides to strike Iran’s nuclear facilities.

“It is still too early to know if we have indeed succeeded in stopping the nuclear agreement, but Israel is prepared for every threat and every scenario,” Lapid declared.

“If Iran continues to test us, it will discover Israel’s long arm and capabilities. We will continue to act on all fronts against terrorism and against those who seek to harm us,” he stated ominously.

“Israel has full freedom to act as we see fit to prevent the possibility of Iran becoming a nuclear threat,” he underscored.

Lapid’s office stated that his visit to the squadron was held at the same time as Mossad head David Barnea’s visit to the US, “as part of the diplomatic campaign against Iran.”

Israeli officials say that the nuclear agreement that is taking shape is a bad one, and Israel does not see itself committed to it and will continue to work for its security and curbing Iran’s nuclear efforts.

In the latest development, the Iranian Foreign Ministry said on Monday that Iran’s answer to the text of the European Union’s proposed final draft of a potential nuclear agreement was “constructive, clear, and legal.”

However, Josep Borrell, the High Representative of the EU for Foreign Affairs, said in response that the Iranian response did not bring the positions any closer and “if the process does not converge, then the whole process is in danger.”

”I am sorry to say that I am less confident today than 48 hours ago about the convergence of the negotiation process and the prospect of closing the deal,” he added.
