Ginette Kolinka a été arrêtée chez elle le 13 mars 1944 avec toute sa famille par la Gestapo. Pour que jamais son histoire ne tombe dans l’oubli, elle s’attache à témoigner, à décrire l’horreur, à transmettre.

De la prison au camp de Drancy, du convoi 71 jusqu’à Auschwitz où elle ne sera plus qu’un matricule 78599, Ginette perdra l’ensemble de sa famille sous l’horreur nazie.
Elle ne sera rapatriée en France que le 30 juin 1945.
