Giuliani will meet with Netanyahu in Israel and convey Trump’s warm message to Israel.

Former New York Mayor Rudolph Giuliani is on his way to Israel and is bringing a warm message from the Trump administration to the Jewish state.

“I’m going to Israel on business, I have a law firm. I will stop by, as I always do, and either have a meeting or have dinner with Prime Minister Netanyahu, [who] has been a friend for 25 years,” Giuliani said in an interview with Fox & Friends on Monday.

Asked about the content of the message from President Donald Trump to the Israeli leader, Giuliani, a close confidant of Trump, said, “I can give the general message, which is ‘I like you very much and we’re very good friends.’”

“They were friends even before” Trump became a political figure, Giuliani pointed out. “This is not a new relationship, but now, obviously, it’s a much more important one.”

The Trump administration has named Guiliani an unofficial adviser on cybersecurity.

Israel has great expectations of the new relationship with Washington and hopes to make significant achievements while working with the Trump administration.

Trump spoke with Netanyahu  on Sunday and invited him to Washington in February.

The Prime Minister’s Office characterized the conversation as “very warm,” while the White House said it was “very nice.”
