Rock guitar wizard Steve Vai is returning to Israel!

Guitar virtuoso Steve Vai will hold an intimate master class in Tel Aviv in March.
The workshop, part of the “Alien Guitar Secrets Master Class” tour, will include three hours of his tunes, a conversation and questions from the audience.
This is Vai’s third visit to the Holy Land, after holding a similar artist’s workshop in 2009 and a full performance in 2014.
Vai is an American guitarist, composer, singer, songwriter, and producer. He was voted the “10th Greatest Guitarist” by Guitar World magazine, and has sold over 15 million records. He is also a three-time Grammy Award winner and fifteen-time nominee.
The announcement on Vai’s pending gig in Tel Aviv comes a week after pop singer Lorde announced she was canceling her concert in Israel.
While Lorde succumbed to anti-Israel pressure, other musicians have proven more resilient. Notably, the British band Radiohead delivered a rocking performance at Tel Aviv’s Yarkon Park last July despite an aggressive campaign waged by BDS activist Roger Waters and others. Some 47,000 Israeli fans embraced the group.
