Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh continues to publicly work towards the destruction of the Jewish State, but privately he enjoys Israeli medical care.
The daughter of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh received treatment in Israel after suffering complications from a routine procedure in Gaza. She was saved by Israeli doctors who cured her in an Israeli medical facility.
Israeli and Gazan sources declined to comment on the news, but a spokesperson from Tel Aviv-based Ichilov Hospital confirmed Sunday that one of Haniyeh’s 13 children had been hospitalized at their facility for several days. The spokesperson stressed that this patient was one of thousands of Palestinian patients who receive treatment in Israel on a yearly bases.
Not the First Time
This is not the first time that Israeli doctors had saved the lives of family members of Palestinian leaders. Just a few days after the launch of Operation Brother’s Keeper at the beginning of the summer to locate three Israeli boys abducted (and murdered) by Hamas, Palestinian Authority head Mahmoud Abbas’s wife received treatment at an Israeli hospital.
Neither is it the first time that Haniyeh’s family members have sought medical treatment in Israel. A granddaughter was treated at an Israeli hospital last November, while his mother-in-law received care at a Jerusalem hospital in June.
Haniyeh spent the duration of Operation Protective Edge hiding in Gaza and commanding the terror efforts against Israel. One of his homes in Gaza was bombed during the war.
