Police also announced that a Jericho man suspected of planning a terror attack on Israelis has been arrested.

The IDF killed a terrorist commander who fired on them during operations overnight in the area of Shechem, according to Israeli media reports on Thursday.
According to the reports, the terrorist was identified as Amir Khalifa of the “Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades.”
In a statement, the IDF said that “During proactive operations by IDF fighters in the city of Shechem, a suspect opened fire at the forces, who responded with fire at him.”
“Hits were identified.”
The IDF also noted that IDF fighters, Shin Bet forces and Border Police officers overnight arrested 3 terror suspects across Judea and Samaria.
One suspect was arrested in the village of Bruqin and another two were arrested in the village of Bayt Rima.
During military operations in the village of Bayt Awa, terrorists threw stones at soldiers.
In addition, early on Thursday shots were fired from Palestinian areas at the Jewish village of Bat Hefer, the IDF said.
No damage or casualties were reported.
Police also announced on Thursday that special forces had last week arrested arrested in Jericho a 21 year old suspected of planning a terror attack in Israel.
According to police, he was arrested at his home along with other suspects.
During the operation, the terrorists fired on the IDF troops. No casualties were reported.
