The Israel Prison Service prepares to release 26 Palestinian terrorists guilty of murder or accomplice to murder.
As part of a goodwill gesture, Israel is to release 26 Palestinian terrorists as a prelude to peace talks with the Palestinian Authority. The Israel Prison Service recently publicized the names of terrorists to be freed, eight of the 26 prisoners were scheduled to be released over the next three years, with two of them up for release within the next six months. The 26 prisoners are among a total of 104 that Israel has agreed to release in four stages depending on the progression in peace negotiations. Below, one can find a comprehensive list from the Israel Prison Service of the Palestinian terrorists set to be released and the crimes that each of them committed:
1.) Fayez Mutawi al-Khur, arrested in November 1985 for murder and attempted murder. He had two victims.
2.) Salah Ibrahim Ahmed Mugdad, arrested in June 1993 for murder. He had one victim.
3.) Samir Nayef al-Na’neesh, arrested in March 1989 for murder. He had one victim.
4.) Yusef Abdel Hamid Irshaid, arrested in March 1993 for murder and attempted murder. He had five victims.
5.) Mustafa Othman al-Haj, arrested in June 1989 for murder. He had one victim.
6.) Salameh Abdallah Musleh, arrested in October 1993 for murder and attempted murder. He had one victim.
7.) Atiyeh Salem Musa, arrested in March 1994 for murder. He had one victim.
8.) Salah Mahmoud Mukled, arrested in July 1993 for murder and attempted murder. He had one victim.
9.) Mohamed Abdel Majid Sawalha, arrested in December 1990 for murder and attempted murder. He had four victims.
10.) Atef Izzat Sha’ath, arrested in March 1993 for accessory to murder. He had one victim.
11.) Yusef Said al-Al, arrested in February 1994 for throwing explosives and accessory to murder. He had two victims.
12.) Midhat Fayez Barbakh, arrested in January 1994 for murder. He had one victim.
13.) Ali Ibrahim al-Rai, arrested in April 1994 for murder. He had one victim.
14.) Mohamed Jaber Nashbat, arrested in September 1990 for accessory to murder. He had one victim.
15.) Samir Hussein Murtaji, arrested in October 1993 for abduction, interrogation through torture and murder. He had five victims.
16.) Hosni Faregh Sawalha, arrested in December 1990 for murder and accessory to murder. He had one victim.
17.) Faraj Saleh al-Rimahi, arrested in July 1992 for murder. He had one victim.
18.) Ala eddin Ahmed Abu Sitteh, arrested in January 1994 for murder. He had two victims.
19.) Ayman taleb Abu Sitteh, arrested in January 1994 for murder. He had two victims.
20.) Esmat Omar Mansour, arrested in October 1993 for accessory to murder. He had one victim.
21.) Khaled Mohamed Asakreh, arrested in May 1991 for murder. He had one victim.
22.) Nihad Yusef Jundiyeh, arrested in July 1989 for murder. He had one victim.
23.) Mohamed Mahmoud Hamdiyeh, arrested in July 1989 for murder. He had one victim.
24.) Jamil Abdel Wahab Natsheh, arrested in December 1992 for accessory to murder. He had one victim.
25.) Taher Mohamed Zaboud, arrested in February 1993 for murder. He had one victim.
26.) Sabih Abed Hammed Borhan, arrested in February 2001 for murder. He had two victims.
