Despite the nuclear deal signed between Iran and the P5+1 powers, the Islamic Republic continues to ridicule and threaten the world, specifically Israel. The Supreme Leader has now published a detailed book on how to annihilate the Jewish state.

Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, is again promoting Israel’s destruction, this time with the publication of a book called Palestine, consisting of 416 pages that describe a plan to wipe out the Jewish state.

The New York Post was able to obtain a copy from Iran, the only place where the book is currently available, although an Arabic translation is expected soon.

Khamenei, described by a blurb about the book as “the flagbearer of Jihad to liberate Jerusalem,” delivers one clear message in his work: Israel has no right to exist, and this is how it can be destroyed.

The Farsi words nabudi (annihilation),” imha (fading out) and zaval (elimination) underscore the book’s message.

Khamenei insists that his strategy for the destruction of Israel is not based on anti-Semitism, which he describes as a European phenomenon. His position is, instead, based on “well-established Islamic principles.”

For instance, land that falls under Muslim rule, even briefly, must never again be ceded to non-Muslims. What matters in Islam is ownership of a land’s government, even if the majority of inhabitants are non-Muslims.

In Israel’s case, which he labels as adou and doshman, meaning “enemy” and “foe,” the necessity to remove it is compounded by three reasons.

The first is that it is a loyal “ally of the American Great Satan” and a key tool in the “evil scheme” to dominate “the heartland of the Ummah [Muslim nation].”

The second reason is that Israel has allegedly waged war on Muslims on a number of occasions, thus becoming a kaffir al-harbi [hostile infidel].

Finally, Israel is a special case because it “occupies” Jerusalem, which Khamenei describes as “Islam’s third Holy City.” He adds that one of his “most cherished wishes” is to pray in Jerusalem.

Khamenei explains that he is not recommending “classic warfare” to wipe Israel off the map or to “massacre the Jews.” He recommends a low-intensity war of attrition over a long period of time designed to make life unpleasant, if not intolerable, for a majority of Israeli Jews so that they leave the country. He suggested a similar course of action in a series of tweets last November.

Khamenei makes no reference to Iran’s nuclear program, but the subtext, according to the Post, is that a nuclear-armed Iran would make Israel think twice before taking military action against the Islamic Republic.

The Goal: Iranian Hegemony in the Middle East

Khamenei hopes that over time, the world will succumb to “Israel fatigue” and no longer support the Jewish state.

The next stage would be the establishment of a state of “Palestine” that would be under Muslim rule but allow non-Muslims, including some Israeli Jews who could prove “genuine roots” in the region, to remain as “protected minorities.”

Under Khamenei’s scheme, a referendum would be held about the nature of the state. All alleged Palestinians refugees and their descendants, supposedly spread out across the globe, would be able to vote, while Jews “who have come from other places” would be excluded. He is sure of a Palestinian majority.

Hezbollah

Khamenei brings previous wars as proof of the practicality of his plan, and he boasts about the certain success he would attain in making life unbearable for Israelis through terror attacks from Lebanon and Gaza. The next phase, he continues, is to recruit “fighters” in Judea and Samaria to set up Hezbollah-style terror units.

We have intervened in anti-Israel matters, and it brought victory in the 33-day war by Hezbollah against Israel in 2006 and in the 22-day war between Hamas and Israel in the Gaza Strip,” he states.

Khamenei describes Israel as “a cancerous tumor.” With its elimination, “the West’s hegemony and threats will be discredited” in the Middle East. In its place, he continues, “the hegemony of Iran will be promoted.”

There is nothing new in the ideas Khamenei presents here. He has voiced them all in the past. The worrying element here is that he promotes them consistently and seriously. This is not mere rhetoric, but, rather, a state plan.

Sign the Petition to Stop a Nuclear Iran

The US Congress must ensure that sanctions against Iran remain in force until the nuclear threat is completely eliminated.

I strongly oppose easing sanctions before the nuclear threat from Iran has been eliminated. Allowing Iran to enrich uranium without being subject to 'anytime, anywhere' inspections is extremely dangerous and unacceptable. Iran's nuclear program must be stopped.
