In a clear message to Palestinian terrorists that Israel will chase them down everywhere, Israeli forces raided a hospital in Hebron and arrested a terrorist who was wounded while stabbing an Israeli civilian two weeks ago.

Israeli Special Forces raided a hospital in Hebron early Thursday morning and arrested a Palestinian terrorist who was being treated there for wounds he sustained while stabbing an Israeli citizen two weeks ago.

According to a statement by the Shin Bet (Israel’s Security Agency), the forces arrested Azzam Azzat Shalaldeh (20), who stabbed  and moderately wounded a 58-year-old Israeli in the Gush Etzion area on October 25th. Shalaldeh was shot by the victim during the attack and was being treated at the Al-Ahli hospital in Hebron.

Jihad Shawar, the director of Al-Ahli hospital, said more than 20 undercover Israeli forces disguised as locals, including one operative pretending to be a woman in labor in a wheelchair, entered the hospital. They went to the surgical unit, where they pulled out their guns and stormed a room where Shalaldeh was being treated for gunshot wounds, he said.

During the operation, Shalaldeh’s cousin, Abdallah, attacked the raiding forces and was shot dead.

Shalaldeh, from the town of Seir near Hebron, comes from a known family of Hamas terrorists. He was transferred to the Shin Bet for questioning.

“The security system will not tolerate places of refuge for terrorists,” the Shin Bet said in the statement.

This is the second time during the latest wave of terror attacks that Israeli forces raided a Palestinian hospital and arrested a terrorist being treated for wounds he sustained during a terror attack.

Early in October, Israeli forces arrested a terrorist who was wounded when a fellow terrorist accidentally shot him as they murdered Eitam and Naama Henkin, who were traveling in Samaria with their four children.
