Aliyah Olim

Nefesh b’Nefesh has launched a new program enabling immigrants to take their creative ideas about Israel and Zionism and transform them into reality.

An Israeli organization that facilitates and encourages Aliya (immigration) to Israel launched its “Initiative for Zionist Innovation,” a new program that supports immigrants who “are seeking to create social change or pursue business innovation in the spirit of Zionism,” the Jerusalem Post reported on Monday.

“Zionist activists and innovators have changed the face of Jewish history over the last 120 years,” said Nefesh B’Nefesh, an organization that assists Aliyah from North America and the UK, according to the Post. “Nefesh B’Nefesh is seeking the next generation of leaders and innovators looking to change the face of Zionism and Israel.”

According to the Post, Nefesh B’Nefesh hopes to encourage immigrants “with a passion for contributing to the Zionist story” to pursue their ideas in business and social innovation, with the ultimate objective of improving Israel and Israeli society.

The program empowers Olim (immigrants) and enables them to take their creative ideas and transform them into reality.

Program participants may be eligible for a financial grant to assist in executing their projects, as well as marketing support and use of Nefesh B’Nefesh spaces throughout Israel.

Founded in 2002, Nefesh B’Nefesh is dedicated to revitalizing Aliyah from North America and the UK by removing or minimizing obstacles to Aliyah.

The support and comprehensive social services that Nefesh B’Nefesh has provided to over 50,000 newcomers has ensured that 90 percent of its Olim have remained in Israel.
