An Israeli delegation is on it’s way to the US to prevent a pending ‘bad nuclear deal’ with Iran.

Headed by National Security Adviser Yossi Cohen, an Israeli team will meet with US officials in Washington to emphasize the loopholes in the pending deal.

They are hoping they will be able to influence the American stance on Iran before signing a bad deal.

The Israeli delegation will arrive in Washington next Monday for its final round of talks with senior US personnel over the nuclear negotiations between Iran and the P5+1 powers, ahead of the June 30th deadline to finalize a deal, Haaretz reports.

Israel fears that the US will settle for what it categorizes as a “bad deal” that would leave many loopholes, enabling Iran to develop a nuclear weapon over time.

Among the pro-Israel community in the United States and around the world, there is strong opposition to any deal that does not guarantee the complete destruction of Iran’s nuclear program. Iran has proven that it cannot be trusted to keep to its word.

Many US lawmakers are also strongly opposed to the pending deal in its current form. Any final deal with Iran will be subject to US Congressional approval.

Sign the Petition to Stop a Nuclear Iran

The US Congress must ensure that sanctions against Iran remain in force until the nuclear threat is completely eliminated.

I strongly oppose easing sanctions before the nuclear threat from Iran has been eliminated. Allowing Iran to enrich uranium without being subject to 'anytime, anywhere' inspections is extremely dangerous and unacceptable. Iran's nuclear program must be stopped.
