The Mamilla Hotel, another of Jerusalem’s prestigious hotels, is being celebrated as the best hotel in the Middle East.
The exclusive Prix-Villegiature awards crowned the Mamilla Hotel in Jerusalem and awarded it the Grand Prix in the Middle East category.
Other hotels nominated for the prize were the Fairmont Dubai, the Jumeirah Mina A’Salam, both in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates, The Small Ville Hotel in Beirut, Lebanon and the Waldorf Astoria in Jerusalem.
The Mamilla Hotel is located in the heart of the capital, with magnificent views of the Old City walls, the Tower of David, Jaffa Gate, and alongside Jerusalem’s finest shopping and entertainment experience, the Alrov Mamilla Avenue.
The hotel was designed by the Italian elite architect and designer, Piero Lissoni, and is described as bringing world-class superior lifestyle, service and hospitality experience to Jerusalem and Israel.
The Villegiature Awards, created in 2003, gather a voting Jury composed of 22 international press correspondents and journalists from famous media outlets around the world. They reward the best of the best hotels in Europe, Asia, Africa and Middle-East.
