A Lebanese journalist says his country’s recent agreement to border negotiations is a sign that the Arab country will eventually normalize relations with Israel.
Lebanese journalist Rami Naim, publisher and general manager of Lebanese news site elsiyasa.com, said in an interview that his country’s recent agreement to border negotiations with Israel, mediated by the U.S., is a sign that Lebanon will eventually normalize relations with the Jewish State.
Naim supports this claim with the fact that Lebanese Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri participated in these negotiations, indicating that Lebanon has recognized the existence of the State of Israel and that Lebanon is no longer conducting an “existential struggle” against Israel.
