U.S. House Representative Ilhan Omar (D-MN) expressed her support for ICC’s recent ruling towards probes into Israel’s military actions in Gaza and its presence in Judea and Samaria.

In an interview on Qatar TV, U.S. House Representative Ilhan Omar (D-MN), who now also serves as vice-chairperson of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, expressed her support for ICC’s recent ruling that its jurisdiction extends to territories liberated by Israel in the 1967 Six-Day War, clearing the way towards probes into Israel’s military actions in Gaza and its presence in Judea and Samaria.

Omar also said she welcomes the willingness of the current administration to cancel the designation of certain groups, such as the Houthis, as terrorists and to “restore some order and normalcy in regard to who belongs on that list [of terrorist organizations].”
