A woman on Monday was murdered and another civilian critically injured in a shooting terror attack on Route 60, near Hebron south of Jerusalem, the IDF said.
According to the IDF, the civilian is currently receiving medical treatment.
The IDF added that forces are in pursuit of the suspects and blockades have been set up in the area.
The murderous attack comes after two Israelis on Saturday afternoon were shot and murdered at a car wash in the Arab village of Huwara in Samaria.
The two victims were identified as Ashdod residents Shay Silas Nigrekar, 60, and his 28-year-old son, Aviad.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu responded to the attack, saying, “I send my condolences to the family of the two people who were murdered, a father and son, whose lives were cut short in such a brutal and abhorrent manner, over Shabbat.”
“The security forces are redoubling their efforts to apprehend the murderer and settle accounts with him, just as we have done with all murderers until now.”
