A man around 70 years old died of his injuries; four others were transferred to Haifa’s Rambam Hospital. A terrorist was killed at the scene.

One person was murdered and four others wounded in a stabbing attack near Haifa’s Lev Hamifratz Mall on Monday morning, according to Magen David Adom (MDA) emergency responders.
According to MDA, a man around 70 years old died of his injuries. He was later identified as Hassan Dhamshe of Kafr Kanna.
Four wounded people were transferred to Haifa’s Rambam Hospital. A man and a woman in their 30s and a boy around 15 are in serious condition. The fourth victim, a woman in her 70s, is in moderate condition.
The police confirmed that the terrorist, Yitro Shahin, a 20-year-old Druze Israeli from Shfar’am in northern Israel. was killed at the scene, while reports indicate the possible involvement of an additional terrorist, as well.
“This was a stabbing attack, police forces are at the scene, terrorist neutralized and eliminated. The police have cordoned off the scene and are working out any other suspicions,” police stated, according to Israel National News.
Security forces are searching for possible other suspects.
In recent years, terror attacks have surged during the Islamic month of Ramadan, which began on Friday night.
