Palestinian Authority (PA) head Mahmoud Abbas is again alleging that Israel is “committing crimes” on the Temple Mount, and that the Palestinians will fight back.
Speaking on Sunday, Palestinian Authority head Mahmoud Abbas affirmed the need to stop what he termed “violations against Al Aqsa Mosque” on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem, saying that the “Al Aqsa Mosque is a red line that cannot be tolerated.”
The Qatar News Agency reports that during a meeting with the guards of Al Aqsa Mosque, Abbas underlined the importance of the great role played by the guards to defend the holy places, stressing the importance of steadfastness against what he alleged are “arbitrary actions and abuses” by Israel on the Temple Mount.
He added that the Palestinian people are defending Jerusalem and the holy sites and that Al Aqsa Mosque is a red line and “we will not accept any infringement on it”
The Palestinians use the Temple Mount, a sensitive holy site, as a means to incite violence against Israel, and have spread malicious lies about supposed Israeli intentions to somehow alter the status of the Temple Mount or even destroy the mosque.
The latest wave of Palestinian terror attacks, which have claimed the lives of 37 people and wounded hundreds, was sparked in September by violence on the Temple Mount that broke out because of rumors spread by Palestinian instigators that Israel intended to harm the Al Aqsa Mosque.
Israel has repeatedly maintained that it has no intention to alter the status quo at the holy site.

We demand that all funding of the PA be stopped immediately. The brutal murder of Israelis committed by Palestinian terrorists throughout Israel is the latest result of ongoing PA incitement against Israeli citizens. Funding the PA means funding terror.
