The relentless wave of Palestinian terror attacks continued on Wednesday, leaving two Israeli security personnel wounded.

A Palestinian stabbed a female IDF soldier on Wednesday at the Adam junction, just north of Jerusalem.

The soldier, 19, was seriously wounded in the neck. She received initial medical treatment at the site of the attack, and was then evacuated to Haddasah Ein Kerem hospital in Jerusalem.

The terrorist was shot dead by Israeli forces present at the scene of the attack. Another Palestinian was arrested.

Earlier in the day, a Palestinian hit and lightly wounded an Israeli policeman with his car at a checkpoint in the Benyamin region in a suspected vehicular terror attack.

When the policemen called on the Palestinian motorist to stop, he sped up and hit the policeman. Other policemen present fired at his car, but he managed to escape.

Security forces launched a manhunt for the terrorist. His car was found, but he has yet to be captured.

Police announced they are investigating whether the incident was a terror attack or an accident.

Overnight, Israeli security forces arrested 47 Palestinians, including 16 Hamas members, all suspected of involvement in terrorism. At least 20 of the 47 are suspected of taking part in various terror attacks and violent disturbances.

These attacks are the latest in a wave of Palestinian violence against Israeli civilians which began on September 14th, and have been ongoing since.

Israeli casualties include ten murdered and 81 wounded in 48 terror attacks in the past month.

The terror attacks include 39 stabbings, four shootings and five vehicular attacks.
