In what appears to be a never-ending wave of terror, Palestinians continue to attack Israelis at every opportunity.
A female Palestinian terrorist was shot and killed Monday as she tried to stab Israeli forces manning a security checkpoint just north of Jerusalem.
According to a statement by Israel’s Border Police, forces manning the checkpoint suspect the terrorists and called on her to stop. She did not heed their call and approached them rapidly while drawing a knife and attempting to stab the policemen. One of the policemen responded by firing and shooting her. She subsequently died of her wounds.
No Israelis were wounded in the incident.
The latest wave of Palestinian violence is marked by an increased female role in the attacks.
This incident was the latest in a long series of Palestinian terror attacks, which have plagued Israelis over the course of over seven months, claiming the lives of 33 victims and wounding over 450.
