A 40-year-old man is in serious condition after a Palestinian Arab stabbed three Israeli civilians in the central Israeli city of Ra’anana Saturday afternoon.

An Arab terrorist from a Palestinian village in Samaria illegally entered Ra’anana, a city in the Tel Aviv region, where he committed two stabbing attacks before being chased down and caught by police.

He first stabbed a man and woman in their 40s – the woman suffered light wounds, and both were taken to Meir Medical Center in the nearby city of Kfar Saba. He then proceeded to enter a residential building, where he stabbed a 60-year-old woman, who was lightly injured.

Ra’anana Mayor Ze’ev Bielski advised residents to remain in their homes while police were searching the area. “After an incident like this there’s no need for [public] gatherings,” he told Army Radio.

The suspect was caught and is under arrest.

On October 13 in Ra’anana, a Palestinian terrorist from Jerusalem, 22, stabbed a 32-year-old man, who suffered non-life-threatening injuries to his neck and stomach.
