Following the tragic murder of Israelis Kim Levengrond-Yehezkel and Ziv Hajbi on Sunday in Samaria, Palestinian leaders and media outlets issued outlandish statements disrespecting the victims and demonstrating a complete disregard for the value of human life.

For example, a statement issued by Palestinian Authority (AP) President Mahmoud Abbas’ Fatah parry declared, “The Israeli government… is incapable of protecting anyone that steals the Palestinian land,” reported watchdog group Palestinian Media Watch (PMW).

The heinous murders were committed by a 23-year-old Palestinian terrorist named Ashraf Walid Suleiman Na’alwa, who returned to an industrial park where he worked to kill in cold blood a young Israeli mother and father, who kissed their respective families goodbye for the last time on Sunday morning.

Following the murders, Fatah posted to Facebook a statement that no Israeli is safe until the Palestinian people gain their “rights in [their] homeland,” accusing Israel of using “terror and murder.”

While one might expect leaders of any civilized party or government to condemn such barbarism, Fatah regualrly glorifies terrorist murderers as “heroic martyrs,” celebrating the anniversaries of their deaths.

PA TV’s Israel Affairs expert Fayez Abbas took the charade even further, falsely claiming that there were doubts about the terrorist’s motive in Sunday’s murders.

“Of course the main headlines in the Israeli media [are] yesterday’s operation, the Barkan industrial zone factory operation, and responses. All of the responses are known of course; they incite in a despicable way. Until now the circumstances are not clear, but for Israel the most important thing is to make accusations of an operation under nationalist circumstances, knowing that according to how the operation was carried out there are doubts,” he claimed according to PMW’s coverage.

Meanwhile, in the Gaza Strip, Palestinians rejoiced over the slayings even doled out sweets to celebrate.

Predictably, the Hamas terror organization called the murders “a heroic operation” and a “natural response to the Israeli occupation’s crimes,” with Islamic Jihad justifying the attack as “natural,” adding that “the settlements are a legitimate target for people of the resistance.”
