Pink Floyd legend and steadfast anti-Israel activist Roger Waters is facing backlash over his promotion of BDS against the Jewish state.

According to a report in Page Six, a news site focusing on celebrities, American Express (AmEx) is one of the major companies opposed to Rogers’ support for the anti-Israel Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) movement and, therefore, will not sponsor his upcoming tour – his “most spectacular and expensive yet.”

AmEx had sponsored this month’s Desert Trip (aka “Oldchella”) music festival in California, which featured Waters among other world-famous musicians. Rogers used the opportunity to spew hatred for Israel as well as for U.S. Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump and to promote his BDS agenda.

Rogers, a Hamas supporter widely accused of being an anti-Semite, has used his clout to try convincing other famous performers to boycott Israel.

Since Waters has been spewing his anti-Israel message, however, he is now facing repercussions.

“Rogers is putting on a huge show. The company was asked to sponsor his tour for $4 million, but pulled out because it did not want to be part of his anti-Israel rhetoric,” an AmEx source told Page Six.

“We never committed to sponsoring Roger Waters’ upcoming tour. When we were approached with the options, we passed on making a bid,” the source said.

Page Six got no response from a Waters representative on the AmEx decision.

Earlier this year, Rogers stated, “I have been accused of being a Nazi and an anti-Semite for the past 10 years. My industry has been particularly recalcitrant in even raising a voice [against Israel] . . . I’ve talked to a lot of them, and they are scared s - - tless. If they say something in public, they will no longer have a career. They will be destroyed.”
