In just one day, there were three Palestinian terror attacks in Samaria, and three Israelis were wounded. Two attackers were eliminated; two were arrested, and a search is underway for another two.
A manhunt is underway after two Palestinian terrorists stabbed and wounded two IDF soldiers at a military post near the community of Har Bracha in Samaria on Wednesday, just after 7 p.m. One soldier was lightly injured; the second, moderately. Both were evacuated to a hospital.
“We have opened an emergency headquarters and are waiting for security directions. The incident has not ended,” Yossi Dagan, head of the Samaria Regional Council, said, according to Ynet.
Earlier reports indicated that the assailants had taken off with the soldiers’ weapons, but they were found at the nearby guard post.
In a separate incident at approximately the same time, security forces arrested two Palestinians suspected of trying to infiltrate the nearby community of Yitzhar.
Residents of Har Bracha and Yitzhar were instructed to remain indoors as security forces search the area.
Also in Samaria, Palestinian terrorists in the early morning invaded a home in the community of Eli with the intent to murder a family, but were fought off by the father, who was subsequently wounded and taken to hospital. Security forces launched a manhunt for the terrorists, who were located and shot dead after they attempted to attack the soldiers.
